The Journal of Constitutional Change (JCC) is a peer-reviewed, diamond open-access journal devoted to the study of how constitutions change.

It publishes original research articles, comparative studies and conceptual papers examining the making, amendment, replacement, reinterpretation, erosion and defence of constitutions, and it treats constitutional change as a distinct field of inquiry rather than as a sub-topic of general constitutional law.

JCC places particular emphasis on Asia, Southeast Asia and the wider Global South as places from which the theory of constitutional change is generated rather than merely tested, while welcoming work on any jurisdiction on the same terms.

Priority is given to scholarship that engages the comparative literature, rests on primary materials the author has consulted in their original language, and makes a clear contribution to contemporary debate.
